A sales deck's job is narrow: get a prospect to agree to the next meeting. For a small B2B team, whether that's a founder running discovery calls, a two-to-ten-person sales team sending pilot proposals, or a head of sales trying to make four reps look like forty, the right tool has to do three things. It has to produce a credible first draft fast. It has to let the deck leave the building without breaking the brand. And it has to tell you which prospect actually opened the thing on a Sunday night, so you know who to call Monday morning.
We evaluated five AI deck tools a small B2B team is likely to consider in October 2026: Gamma, Pitch, Beautiful.ai, Plus AI, and the broader PowerPoint/Google Slides AI ecosystem. This is a documentation-and-pricing comparison, not a hands-on bake-off. Every price, limit, credit allowance, and feature claim below was taken from the vendor's current pricing or help page, and the exact pages are in the sources block. Scores reflect that documented evidence against the rubric below.
How we tested
Comparison done October 15-19, 2026 against each vendor's then-current pricing and help pages; weighting favors viewer tracking (because for sales teams it's the most under-adopted deliverable) and entry-tier value (because small teams must get real work done before expanding seats).
Pricing Transparency & Entry-Tier Value
We read each vendor's own pricing page and recorded the published entry paid price (annual and monthly), the smallest unit of billing, any seat minimum, and whether a free or trial tier is sustainable long enough to build and send one real client deck without hitting a hard cap.
Viewer Tracking & Follow-Up Signal
We checked each product's docs for per-recipient analytics on shared decks: does it tell a rep who opened the deck, which slides they lingered on, and when; and on which paid tier that analytics unlock sits.
Brand Control for a Small Team
We recorded what each tool offers for brand kit, locked themes, custom fonts, custom domains for shared decks, and badge removal on the entry paid tier, from the vendor's own pricing/help pages.
Output Format & PowerPoint Compatibility
We recorded whether each tool exports editable PPTX from its entry paid plan, whether it imports an existing PPTX template, and whether it can live inside PowerPoint or Google Slides rather than as a separate web app.
AI Allowance for Sales-Deck Volume
We recorded the entry paid plan's monthly AI credit allowance (and the vendor's stated rate at which credits are consumed where published), to estimate how many prospect-specific decks a seat can realistically produce in a month without buying add-ons or upgrading.
The deck is still the center of a B2B sale, but for a small team the economics of making one changed in 2026. Three of the four tools in this ranking will produce a credible first draft from a prompt in under five minutes, and three of them publish a sub-$20 entry-tier price. The real decision isn’t which one makes the prettiest slides (most of them are close enough) but which one gives a rep the signal and the brand control to send more decks with less friction.
If this is one piece of a wider small-team sales stack, our AI pre-call account research briefs ranking covers the step before the deck, and our AI personalized video prospecting ranking covers the warm-up asset that sits in front of it; the Loom vs Vidyard verdict answers the recorded-walkthrough question that often replaces a live deck review on later-stage calls.
Why Gamma leads
Gamma lists four core plans on its pricing page: Free ($0), Plus ($9 per seat per month), Pro ($18 per seat per month), and Ultra ($90 per seat per month), with up to 28% savings on annual billing and monthly credits of Plus 1,000; Pro 4,000; Ultra 20,000. That shape is why we lead with it for a small team. The Free plan includes 400 starter credits that don’t refresh and allows up to 10 cards per prompt, with PDF/PPTX import and export on every tier, including Free. That’s enough credit to build and send one real client deck before the team commits a card, which is unusual in this category.
Pricing scales cleanly from there. Plus at $9/seat/month annual gives 1,000 monthly credits that refresh on the billing date and removes the “Made with Gamma” badge; Pro at $18/seat/month annual adds detailed analytics, custom branding and fonts, up to 10 custom domains, API access, and 4,000 monthly credits. The honest caveat for a sales team: per-viewer analytics only appears on Pro. A head of sales who wants every rep to see which prospect opened the deck is really looking at $18/seat/month, not the $9 headline. Even so, that’s the lowest published price in our comparison for an AI-first deck tool with per-viewer analytics on an individual seat.
When Pitch is the better call
Pitch is built for a motion where the deck is the shared artifact that everyone, rep, prospect, buying committee, gathers around. On annual billing Plus is €10 per seat per month for one member, Team is €15 per seat per month for up to 25 members, and Business is €20 per seat per month for up to 200 members, with Enterprise required above 200 and a 30-seat minimum. The feature that justifies choosing Pitch over Gamma for a sales team is Pitch Rooms. Pitch Rooms give a client one link to a deck plus related material and show how they engage with it; viewer analytics track when a shared deck is opened so a rep knows when to follow up.
The trade-offs are real. The Free plan is permanent for up to five members with unlimited presentations, 100 one-time AI credits that don’t refresh, and branded PDF export only. That means the free tier is enough to try the product but not to run on it. And Team at €15/seat/month annual caps advanced links at 25 and shared Pitch Rooms at 2; Business at €20/seat/month annual lifts both to unlimited. A two-rep team closing one or two deals a month fits comfortably in Team; a five-rep team running concurrent pilots will hit the ceiling and pay for Business.
When Beautiful.ai wins the brand-lock-down job
Beautiful.ai is the pick when a head of sales doesn’t trust reps to stay on-brand on their own. Beautiful.ai Pro is $14.50 per month when billed annually for one user; a month-to-month Pro option is published at $45 per month for one-off projects; Team is $40 per user per month on annual billing or $50 per user per month monthly; Enterprise pricing is custom. The Pro pricing page lists unlimited AI content generation, Smart Slide auto-design with 300+ layouts, custom brand styling, AI image, writing and translation tools, PowerPoint import and export, dynamic data visualizations and viewer analytics. Note that viewer analytics is on the solo Pro plan, the lowest published entry point with that feature in our comparison.
The problem is the evaluation path and the step from solo to team. Beautiful.ai doesn’t offer a permanent free plan; it offers a 14-day free trial that gives full access, with no freemium version that continues after the trial ends. The Team price works out to $400 per month for a 10-person team, and that’s before the 20-seat ceiling that forces an Enterprise conversation. For a founder-plus-one running the pipeline, Pro at $14.50/month annual is a sharp price. For a six-rep team, the jump to $40/user/month is the moment this becomes a real spend.
What didn’t make the cut
Plus AI is the one tool we mark Not Recommended for this specific job, a small B2B sales team evaluating AI deck tools from scratch. The product itself is capable. The Team plan is $30 per user per month billed annually or $40 per user per month monthly, with 6,000 AI credits per month and tasks that typically consume between 40 and 170 credits depending on complexity. Team-wide custom branding and templates, a shared preset library, and unlimited team members are included at that tier, along with the Plus AI MCP Server and Presentation API integrations. For a team deciding where to put its deck workflow, the lack of documented per-recipient viewer analytics on the pricing page is the gap that makes the other options a better buy at a comparable or lower price.
The one spend to prioritize
For a founder-led team doing one or two deals a month, Gamma Free plus one Plus seat at $9/month annual is enough. For a two-to-ten-person sales team, the spend worth prioritizing is viewer analytics on every rep’s deck: Beautiful.ai Pro at $14.50/month annual, Gamma Pro at $18/seat/month annual, or Pitch Team at €15/seat/month annual, in that order of price. The signal of “this prospect opened the deck three times on Sunday” is worth more than any amount of AI polish on the slides themselves.
